听力教学

1. 题目:Friendship 

2. 内容:

Do you want a friend whom you could tell anything to, like your deepest feelings and thoughts? Or are you afraid that your friends would laugh at you, or would not understand what you are going through? Anne Frank wanted the first kind, so she made her diary her best friend. Anne lived in Amsterdam in the Netherlands during World War II. Her parents were Jewish so had to hide or they would be caught by the German Nazi. She and her parents hid away for nearly twenty-five months. During that time, her diary was her only true friend.

3. 要求:

(1)全英文授课;

(2)设计听力教学活动,使学生了解文段大意;

(3)设计板书;

(4)试讲时间:10分钟。




Teaching aims

1) Knowledge aim

Students will be able to master the new words and phrases such as Netherlands, Jewish, go through.


2) Ability aim

Students will be able to understand the main idea and detailed information about the listening material and their listening ability will be improved.

Students can realize the importance of friendship and learn to cherish friendship.

Students can improve their listening ability after listening training.


Teaching and learning methods

Question & answer teaching method; communicative teaching method; task-based teaching method;group work method; cooperation study method; independent study method


Teaching procedures

Step 1: Lead in

Teacher will show a photo of a person and introduce her to the class. Then, students are asked to talk about their best friends.


Step 2: Pre-listening

Students are asked to discuss about questions “Do you think friends are important to you? Why do you think they are so important?” and make a list of reasons.


Step 3: While-listening

1) First listening

Students are asked to listen to the tape and find out who Anne’s best friend was and why they became best friends.

2) Extensive listening

1. Second listening

Teacher plays the tape for a second time and students need to answer some questions on the blackboard.

2. Third listening

Students will listen to the tape for a third time and fill the blanks of the passage on the PPT.


Step 4: Post-listening

Retell the story

Students are asked to retell the story according to the words they have written down before.


Step 5: Summary and homework

1. Summary

Teacher asks students to summarize what they have learned in this class.

2. Homework:

1) Search more information about Anne’s diaries on the internet.

2) Write a passage about your best friend.
